Sue,

I can definitely empathize with you there. My SIL actually relocated to another state with her boyfriend. It was very difficult to think of her with someone else. It also bothered me that they chose to just live together because she draws my brother's military pension, so as long as she doesn't remarry, she still gets that money. The idea of them living together on my dead brother's hard earned money really bothered me. She also chose to bury him where she lived which is 18 hours from the rest of the family. The only comfort we had from that was knowing she was nearby to visit, now she's moved out of state so there isn't even anyone to visit my brother's grave. After a year, she moved back, but has recently relocated again with another boyfriend. I dont' agree wtih her decisions, but have found that if I desire to have any kind of relationship with her, then I kind of have to bite my tongue. It's not that I want her to be alone forever, I jsut want her to make decisions that would honor my brother.

I agree, it seems your brothers fiance moved forward very quickly. It could be her way of grieving, or the rumors may be true. In any event, you may have to bite you tongue a bit if you want to continue to have her in your life. I am sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Darci
